Ruwac Designs central vacuum systems up to 250 horse power for any vacuum requirement. Whether it be vacuum assist sanding, point of source material collection from a process line, or general housekeeping; Ruwac will customize your central vacuum system with the right vacuum producer, filtration unit, collection container and tubing system.

Factors for consideration
In order to properly design a central industrial vacuum system, there are many factors that must be taken into consideration:

Type of material
Quantity of material
Weight of material
Particle size
Length of Tubing System
Diameter of hoses
Length of hoses and type of accessories
Characteristics of material (i.e. sticky, wet, dry……)
Characteristics of Atmosphere (i.e. Explosive, outdoors, indoors…)
Number of operators
Number of vacuum assist tools or shrouds
Type of point of source extraction (i.e. custom shroud, manifold or conveyor system)
Altitude and temperature of environment
Tubing system is properly designed for maximum flow efficiency

Vacuum Producers
Ruwac builds custom central systems to fit your application. Single or Multi-user, single or multi- stage, and multi-purpose workstations have all been accomplished for Ruwac customers. As an example, we use 5 different types of vacuum producers:

Regenerative single and multi-stage up to 1100 CFM and 14 Hg”
Centrifugal Single-stage up to 12000 CFM and 88 H2O”
Centrifugal Multi-stage up to 5000 CFM and 12 Hg”
Cast Iron Centrifugal single and multi-stage up to 5000 CFM and 15 Hg”
Positive Displacement Dual and Tri lobed up to 3000 CFM and 18 Hg”

Central Vacuum Filtration Ruwac builds filtration units to suit your application. Conscious of cloth to air ratios, Ruwac insures the use of the correct style and filter media to reduce premature filter clogging and filter longevity. Ruwac will be pleased to design your vacuum system or supply you with fittings for an existing system. We provide central vacuum systems up to 250 horse power with a variety of filtration and containment options. A CAD drawing of the completed vacuum system layout is supplied with every proposal. Ruwac offers central vacuum components from 2” to 12” in diameter to meet any application. Our tubing is available in aluminum, galvanized steel, carbon steel or stainless steel. Wall thickness ranges from 20-11 gauge. Whatever your application, we will work with you to provide a cost effective solution to your vacuuming needs.
